This one-man band consists of an acoustic-electric guitar, two electrics, a bass and a relatively cheap 8-track recorder that I bought on sale. The recorder also has a drum pattern kit which can be edited and arranged, as well as pads that can be played to make your own patterns.

I may get an electronic keyboard at some point... except I really don't know how to play the piano. The family piano was sold when I was around 8 years old because, as I was told, none of my older siblings were really using it after a few years of lessons. But hey, that got me to play the guitar instead after introductory lessons from my sister.

Why this name?
Musikero = musician
Pasangawa (pasang-awa) = barely-passing or hardly one
Do you play live?
I play live all the time --- in our basement. I do a lot of cover songs with a fakebook on hand.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has allowed dilettantes like me to torment the world and put ourselves at risk for ridicule.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
As long as it is not a tobacco company. That would pose a conflict of interest with my day job.
Band History:
I was a cry-baby, sang nursery rhymes as a toddler, learned to whistle when I was 7 years old, played do-re-mi on a harmonica at 8, guitar at 12, tried playing bass in high school, and joined a number of singing groups. And now here I am--- I hope my mama's proud of me.
Your influences?
Rogers and Hammerstein when I was in primary school; Led Zepellin, Kiss, Deep Purple, Eagles and James Taylor in high school; Chick Corea, Eddi Daniels and Earl Klugh in my college jazz phase; Joey Ayala, Asin, Juan dela Cruz Band in later college years. I was completely oblivious to U2, Duran-Duran and a lot of other bands that decade, but discovered them after I started listening to Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Candlebox, Bush, Stone Tempe Pilots and Soundgarden in the 1990s. Into the 21st century, I must admit I have not been as enamored with hip hop, but I particularly like Black Eyed Peas' music.

I do have CD sets of Mozart, Beethoven and Tchaikovsky; the Police and Sting; Santana; Side A Band; Cream; Ute Lemper and Kurt Weill; and Yanni (but my wife hates his music)--- and I just don't know how these gel as influences in my jellyfish musician head.
Favorite spot?
Lake Cuomo-- but I haven't been there. Yet.
