Hi there! This is "The Elephant Test" from Manipal, India... the bands basically two of us. There's Hiren with vocals. He plays a major part in making the whole thing sound real good! And there's me (Tavish) on the guitar and occasional vocals!
Anyway... listen to the music. Let us know what you think! Cheers! Keep playing!

Why this name?
Yes we know "the elephant test" sounds strange but it seemed kinda apt. we remembered an old story about 3 blind men and an elephant. each blind man was allowed to touch one part of the elephant- the trunk. the leg and the tail. each blind man then attempts to decribe the elephant based on what he senses- thin wirelike, like the trunk of a tree or like a snakelike creature.
But a clearer understanding of what an elephant looks like only comes by combining all three stories. we realised our music was like that... couldnt classify it because it felt like so many different things all put together... hence "The Elephant Test"

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the internet truly has revolutionised the music industry. Its given a chance for unheard of, upcoming bands to get to show their music to the world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
The decision shall be taken when needed.
