Not recently. Couple of things fell through, what else is new in this biz?
We keep at it, I reckon.

Its great and terrible. I love the breakdown of the tighly wound controls, but with that control comes the Machine. Being so dilute, means its difficult to reach a (paying) audience. Its not about the money, for me. I think a dollar for a song I like is an offering of acceptance.
To assume that because its on the 'net that all should be free, well I find that to be insulting and selfish (self-serving).
Imagine if we all threw money at each others' work?! What a powerful statement to Corporate America

I have no beef with the business of recording. I am certain that they know this business far better than I do. I know mine better than they do. I don't do my own home repairs, I hire the pros. Why would I NOT want a PRO to churn the marketing and grow it into a monster!?
I just have the feeling that they may not actually be driving the industry for the right reasons, and that's a shame.
