I just really like making music. I can get out any frustration with it. Sadnesses, Gladnesses, Madnesses, anything.
Why this name?
I had a substitute teacher in middle school who didn't speak very good english and couldn't pronounce my name, Joseph. It just stuck.
Do you play live?
I haven't yet but I definatly want to as much as possible.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Personally I think it helps and hurts it. I dig the amplified communication aspect, but it kind of takes away from that "realness" aspect of a live show.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably not. Indie label would be better for me cause it is about your music with them. Major labels sign people like the Jonas Brothers for God's sake. They have no talent. Indie labels care about people and what they can do.
Band History:
No history to speak of.
Your influences?
Slug and Ant from Atmosphere is my main Influence for this type of music. The fact that he can get on a record and say anything gave me the door to start and remember that music is about being really real.
Favorite spot?
I love West Virginia. I never want to leave.
Equipment used:
I have a shure mic, Ibanez Guitars, Roland Drum Machine, a Behringer Xenyx 1204 mixer and a broken Roland Keyboard. Everything else is done digitally through Adobe Audition, Fl Studio, and Edison.
