Antwon LaCharm (born April 29, 1991) is a young phenom waiting to hit the scene. With his style and finesse in rapping, singing, song writing, record producing, beat production, artist management, film production, acting and being an young business man, it is highly doubted that this young star won't reach success.
Less than four years ago, he was the hilarious, snotty nosed 13-year-old boy next door, a teenager born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Queens, NY with a world of talent and big dreams, fueled by the artist he grew up with. Before the age of 18 years old Antwon LaCharm had a major gift in music, "I remember when I was in junior high and I would be in music class I would go on the keyboard and just start making beats and my boys would be like yo this dude is nice" says LaCharm. Now, in the process of releasing his first solo mixtape he is ready to make a name for himself. Antwon has been rapping since the age of 12 years old, it wasn't till recently he started singing and when asked why he reply’s, "I never had much confidence in my singing until one of my friends heard me sing saying that I should incorporate it in my raps, and when I sang for more people they would say the same thing."
Though Antwon seems like a heart-throb with a lot of success headed his way he also has some burdens he carries around with him whenever he does shows, "Growing up I never had that older figure to look up to, or the parent coming to the games cheering me on, till this day whenever I do my shows I go alone wishing my mother or father could make it but they work hard trying to make ends meet for my siblings and I."
"The vibe I hope to get back from this first mixtape is a positive one from both males and females, says the humble LaCharm.”This past year I've linked up with so many great people that it's brought me a new perspective on music, so I'm thankful for this."
Antwon LaCharm is a member of UFO Entertainment, a promotion team out of Queens consisting of Mike Classic & Real Good. Though this is his solo mixtape he will have artist from featured on his mixtape. Antwon LaCharm was schooled to the business side of music and developed his production skills by his Producer, which is also his close friend Multi-Platinum producer Mr. Fingaz ("Holla Holla" & “POV City Anthem”). The mixtape contains songs of the genre, such as Hip-Hop & R&B.
When asked what to expect from his first mixtape LaCharm says, "Well I know they say third times the charm but I like to think if i give it to you right the first time, then you'll be coming back for more" and he laughs.
In addition to his blooming musical career, Antwon LaCharm is also branching into acting, no word on his first television debut as of yet. "I always wanted to be on television acting, growing up watching television shows like "Martin", "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air", and “Family Matters" and "A Different World" I always wanted to be a part of them. Plus now days there aren't a lot of black sitcoms anymore and I want to get the chance to star in my own sitcom, maybe a modern day Martin/Fresh Prince of Bel-Air type of show."
Antwon also wants be a part of the new Rocawear men's campaign. The campaign's concept "I Will Not Lose" celebrates those who have overcome adversity daily to continue to thrive and make the world a better place. Antwon's participation in this campaign would show that he believes in the campaign motto: "Every success story no matter how big or small we all share a common thread and attitude."

Why this name?
I came up with the name Antwon LaCharm in class when I was in 9th grade. I was bored in class and I got the thinking ... "I need a name that describes me ...", so I took my middle name Antoine and flipped the spelling. Then I remembered that everyone would always say I have a charming personality, so I called myself Antwon The Charm. Sayin it over and over I felt something didn't sound right so I substituted "The" for "La" and got "Antwon LaCharm".
Do you play live?
I haven't got the chance to play live yet, but when I do I know I'll entertain the crowd very well.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's made it harder for Artist to sell their music and leaks into the main stream a lot.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah of course, for the right price.
Band History:
I've affiliated with many groups but at the end of the day I come to bein a solo Artist.
Your influences?
Females lol nah mean, but I'd have to honestly say the love and passion I have for music comes from the feeling you get when you hear that new song or that crazy beat. It makes me want to translate to the fans what the beat is sayin to me.
