Well... it's sorta complicated and f***ed up but not really. So to make a long story short the legend started by drinking beer and making noise on the weekends for cheap thrills. Then someone got the idea to play a Halloween show of all Misfit tunes. Only 30 people showed up to the party and all but 5 survived, thus became Full-On. Hey we could have been called "Passionate", but anywayz... Full-On describes the way we think of life, the way we imagine catching a clean tube or carving some pow on the mountain. Our lust for raunchy guitars, phat bass lines and flat, nostrily vocals make up what has been described as pure butt-punk with ska tendencies. We've had our struggles, our differences and a few divorces, but Full-On keeps pushing forward and preaching to the world our Motto: Full-On or F***-Off!
Why this name?
It's a secret of the brotherhood...
Do you play live?
We play shows all over the Northwest and are planning on touring Summer or Winter 2002. At one of our shows, we got one of our big bros to come help sing our signature song, and he slammed his head into one of the monitors. It was quite a sight.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Mp3 has made the industry better in alot of ways, and then again worse as well. There is so much talent out there today and you can really hear it on these unsigned sites such as Sound Click, Garageband, Mp3, Lycos, and well more. The competition is far more greater than it ever has been with the growing popularity of Home Recording. We just want to play music, drink beers, and have fun!
Your influences?
For the most part we are influenced by Punk Rock. NOFX, The Misfits, Pennywise, obviously the list goes on. There are some other influences as well ranging from Skid Row to Bob Marley.
