A very original and versatile emcee from PA. Style varys from metaphoric, to expressing deep lyrical ideas such as mental angish (similar to 2Pac, Nas, and DMX), to lastly hype clubish type hip hop.
Why this name?
I was given the name because of the location where I live.
Do you play live?
I'm trying to!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Gave artist beats and new place to show off there skills!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes!
Band History:
Stixz first started rapping in the summer of 2001. Given the name because the location he lives. Highly influenced by Nas, and expectly the song "Ghetto Prisoners". The idea's from the song started a base for what Stixz would soon do on his own. Stixz soon took up writing poetry and small songs on various typics. With the feed back from the poetry Stixz desided to take his lyrical talent to the next level. He added the words to music and everything feel into place. Stixz is definitely not your typical emcee.
Your influences?
Nas, Biggy, 2 Pac, and the LOX.
