Hi ,
Nice to finally meet you , I'm Jonaah Arc and I run I AM GENIUS Multimedia INC. I take great pride in being a female engineer / producer in this male dominated field, hence the name Jonaah Arc ( Joan of Arc, if you don't know who she was check her out she was really bad ass). I've been working in this field for 4 years now and I am proud to say I am a graduate of the infamous Musicians Institute RIT program . I'm also an artist , but who isn't these days? I take my craft seriously though, and I have to say that not everyone who does music takes it seriously.

Why this name?
I felt that the original heroine and I share similar qualities , that we have both struggled to gain acceptance in a field where men generally dominate . And like her I will rise to a position in this game, that will demand respect and acceptance as an equal in the field.
Do you play live?
I've performed live plenty of times, and I will do it anywhere I am asked. I love performing , the crowds excitement gives me a high unlike any other. My special moment came when I won a large some of money for spitting on the mic , that felt really really good.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think that it has helped the independent artist a great deal. We no longer have to wait for some A&R to say ok you sound good we want to sign you( Don't get me wrong this can be great too), but the power to be bigger than you have ever dream can be placed soley in your hands . The mp3 format has allowed one to leave their location and speak to millions without ever actually getting on a plane.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course , why not ?
