My band name is Oscar Ogali. It is my name actually, because I am a producer. I produce hip-hop instrumentals, and I am seriously looking for someone with great talent to work with.
Why this name?
It is my name and I am the only one in the 'band'.
Do you play live?
No. I have never played live before
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it gives everyone (producers, artistes, record labels and listeners) a lot more access to music. I personally feel that it may have reduced the earnings most artistes and producers make, but I also think that the market is a lot more assessible
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes
Your influences?
I produce hip-hop instrumentals, so most hip-hop producers and artistes are my influences. I try to listen to everything. The producers that I usually listen to are DJ Clue, Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Jermaine Dupri, Neptunes, Kanye West and so on.
Equipment used:
I use a laptop computer and a Korg keyboard. Hope to get more equipment very soon.
