I was born in Riverside RI, a place where the majority love to see you fail. But Im going to do my best to make sure they are blind to that fact. The music I make is usually raw or deep but I usually rap on any beat that fits a certain mood that I'm in.
Why this name?
or those who don't know my name is John Aka Cathartic. I chose this name because when I write music it is emotionaly benifical in other words "Cathartic".
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It is the best thing that has happened technology wise for music artist. It helps get your music heard quicker and to a larger audience of listeners.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If in the contract it states I can still be true to who I am then were do I sign

I am a huge fan of atmosphere, Sage Francis, Jay-Z, AZ, Del The Funky Homosapian, Wu-Tang Ill Bill, Big L....ECT.
