Hi, my name is Lisette. Our band has 7/8 people.
First , we have little Els who is a vocal, she plays also with sticks to give more rhythm.
She loves the Lord and she loves people. She does a lot of sports and listens often to music.
Then there’s big Els who is a singer, and is very busy educating her son.
Further we have Nicole, her biggest love is singing and she loves Jesus.
We all do.
Then there’s Jan. He sings with a low voice, he is also Elder in our church. He love’s nature
Then we have Louis he is the pastor from the bfc-bikerchurch and he plays mouth harmonica and also the drums.
He is always busy doing this or that and his hobby is being on the road to bring the gospel.
Our son Marvin plays electric guitar and is a very good singer.
His girlfriend Kelly is also a beginning singer in the band. She loves reading a good book.
The last one is myself. I play the guitar and sing and also coach the band. But we do it all together, I love to ride my bike together with my husband Louis and the others from our church.
We feel free and we love to play together for Jesus Christ our Lord.

Why this name?
The first part of our band name is Rainbow. So we our known in our home town. Rainbow reminds us to the covenant between God and the human being. The second part of our band name is Elishaba, lt means Lisette in Hebrew and I write most of the songs. When I sing alone then I use Elishaba
Do you play live?
Yes, we play live. We play sometimes when the Gidions have a conference.
Once a year we have a gospel day with several other bands for a good cause. Furter, when we see people listen to the message that makes us feel good

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it's easier to get to, more people. As they are busy on the internet and in the meantime can listen to the songs.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No, we all play for free.
