Albattross goes back a long way.
The band used to perform vernacular songs, but that changed as the band line-up changed with the introduction of a new bassist and guitarist, from 2007-08. Now we stick to English and strictly english!!(and thank god for that!)

Why this name?
The band was formed about 8 years back and the name came just happened to come up.
Do you play live?
We do shows and all, here and there, college fests, etc.
Special moments...hmmm....well there was this one time when the crowd was going nuts and our singer(who could do by losing a few kilos) jumped off the stage and the people started pulling his shirt and we on stage were looking for our vocalist!!
Suddenly the lights dim and out cometh the knight out of the blue from behind us, and sadly with out a shirt!!!

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Oh it is a great medium for bands which need a platform to showcase their music..
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure, if the given the chance...hell yes!
Band History:
coming soon
Your influences?
We guys come from different musical backgrounds,
The bassist practically listens to all except for hindi(read Himesh and Altaf Raja) and HIP-Hop, trust me when I say he hates that genre!
Lets see , Metal, Rock, Jazz, Blues, Progressive Rock, Alternative, Pop, but most of all he absolutely swears by 80's Rock! Vintage by god!
Our guitarist listens to loads of stuff from classical, blues, jazz, pop to progressive to metal!
His favourite being the G3.
The Vocalist and the Drummer have only started their journey into the vast soundscape...they have started by listening to Nightwish, Dream Theatre, Iron Maiden, they swear by Pantera!
