Well my name's Griff, and when I started playing out and stuff people would just put "Griff" on the flyer. I thaught it was a bit boring to just have my name, plus I kinda wanted to distinguish between Griff the every day person and the person I was on stage, so I just started using G-Swift as a stage name and it stuck.

Yeah. All over the place. Yeah, of course I like it =)

One of my favouraite moments was at the Stardust all-dayer in 2002 with Bad Company, L Double, Darren Jay and High Contrast. MCing for L Dubz and Darren Jay and getting 2000 people to push up their lighters during a huge breakdown was definately cool.

It's good to get sh*** out there quickly. Especially IMing, you'd be supprised how much D&B gets signed to labels after a few AIM sessions.

93-95 Jungle: Old Reinforced, Suburban Base, Moving Shadow, Metalheadz, Labello Blanco, DeeJay, Kemet, X-Project, GLR, Flex, all those old classic labels still inspire me. Lots of 80s soul influences too, though I'm not sure how much that comes across in many of my tunes.
