Why this name?
my stage name has the same initials as my real name. plus it sounds cool. made of win!
Do you play live?
not a live act yet. i'm hoping to get mr. bradfield up on stage at some point within the next few years. now if i could just find a few good people...
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
are you kidding? when the internet came along, the music industry was turned upside down. it gives independent artists like myself more of an advantage as far as getting themselves noticed. it also beats the hell out of having to deal with fat cat record execs who don't give a rat's cock about real art.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
the short answer: no.
Band History:
after sucking royally at piano when i was 13, i decided to take up guitar, though i didn't get serious about it until i was 17. i've been writing songs for as long as i can remember. go me?
Your influences?
waaaaaaaaaay too many to name, but i'll give you the basics: 70's, 80's, and early 90's pop, all forms of metal (the heavier the better), singer-songwriters, adult contemporary, 70's progressive rock, neo-prog (okay, anything proggy), most forms of electronica, early modern rock, and pretty much anything weird and obscure.
Favorite spot?
Bethesda, MD. The greatest town on earth :D
Equipment used:
Acoustica Mixcraft (i've dabbled with a every version at one point or another), Acoustica Beatcraft (beats the hell out of a drum kit), an ever-changing series of preamps, Fender Stratocasters, various bass guitars, Ibanez acoustic guitars, and an impressive (if i do say so myself) collection of guitar effect pedals.
Anything else...?
just enjoy what you hear on my little corner on the universe. and if you don't, don't hesitate to tell me why. boosh, y'all!
