Do you play live?
We're working out some live shows right now.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think that mp3 trading/sharing has caused a backlash in the music industry and that acts that otherwise may have gotten stuff released will have to pay out of pocket more and more often. Which not all of them can do. DIY rocks....but.....its hard when you have bills to pay. Ya know?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It would depend on the kind of deal they offered us. They would have to buy out my indie-label. Which I must say would cost them a pretty penny. If I got to retain control and still got to release what I wanted then yes. I would deffinitely consider it.
Your influences?
Bands: Slowdive, Sigur Ros, Mogwai, Pink Floyd, A Perfect Circle, Bethany Curve, Sans Arc, Cocteau Twins, Sunny Day Real Estate, Peter Gabriel, to name just a small few.
Other: Life, Beautiful Things, Sunsets, Clouds, The Ocean, Leaves Falling from trees and other sissy crap. Hahahaha.
Favorite spot?
Well, I cant speak for the whole band.....but I like open spaces a lot. Im way into camping and hiking and such. I love mountains and forrests a lot. Though the beach (which is pretty much where we live near) is good too sometimes, we like hiking throught the tide pools. Im just not a big fan of cities. Although I love Hollywood.
Equipment used:
Fernandez Guitars, Rogue Bass, Roland V-Drums, Yamaha SY-35, Behringer Virtualizer Pro, Danelectro Delay and Overdrive, Boss Digital Delay, Ibanez Flange, Rockman Compressor/Chorus, Alesis Compression, Peavey Bass Amp, Fender ROC-Pro 1000 Amp, E-bow, Bespeco Volume Pedal, Shure Microphones, BR-8 (On the early stuff), M-Audio Mobile Pre USB Interface, Pre Sonus Blue Tube Pre Amp, Cakewalk Pro Audio 9, Soundforge, probably a lot more. Thats whats coming to mind right now.
