I have been playing piano/keyboards for 28 years & Guitar on and off about10 years. I formed my first band “Fiction” in 1983 with two of my good friends Ryan Schaffer (drums) & Dan Mayer (vocals & keyboards) Fiction had a synth pop/Dépêche Mode kind of sound we opened up for a lot of local bands in Cleveland area. We recorded and released one album “Fiction” and an EP “Imagination” during our 7 year run. Fiction dissolved in the summer of 1990. In the Mid 90’s I played guitar/keyboards with “State of Being” Chris Foldi (vocals/programming/founder) Jeff Boggs (keyboards/backing vocals). State of Being has an industrial/pop/Goth sound. Dcap was a well known regional band from Cleveland. Dcap is currently recording an album for a major label, they are based in L.A. After I left Dcap I started working on several small recording projects, I got frustrated and I stopped writing & recording for several years. I started writing again 4 years ago and “Q” was born. “Q” is one of two recording projects; my other project is called “Syn”. www.myspace.com/michaeldemagallsyn.
