No Lie

I been writing music for about 10 years now but I recently decided to start recording. People tell me they like what I'm doing so I decided to stick with it.

Why this name?

I didn't really choose it. My last name is Devine and everybody calls me Big Devine so I just stuck with that.

Do you play live?

I've performed a couple times but I think shows are kind of a waste of time until you get known.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

The internet is one of the best things that happened to music. I mean Artists don't make as much money as they used to because of it but you can put a song on the internet and put it in front of millions of people with just a click.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Of Course, that's everybody's ultimate goal.

Your influences?

Kanye West and Jay Z. I feel like they love making music, not just making money. Money is important but you have to love making the music too.

Favorite spot?

Pompano Beach, everybody is comfortable where they grew up.
