Do you play live?
Yes we do. We have played in the San Fernando Valley and the Sunset Strip at the Cat Club. That was a special moment for us because there were people there from all the world because it was the next day after the big NAMM show in Southern California.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes it a lot easier to get your songs out to whole lot more people. Plus, having people buy songs as downloads makes it easier for a new band to start making some money whereas before, you had to ship thousands of CDs or record albums out to hundreds of stores.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I never like to close any doors or say never. It all depends on things break for us. Things that a label provides, like large recording budgets and tour support and even TV commercials are all great things that really help and make life easier.
Your influences?
Newer Metallica, Audioslave, Velvet Revolver, Alice in Chains, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors. Anything with great guitar tones and real vocals.
Favorite spot?
Hollywood, California
Equipment used:
Both Seabass and I use Gibson guitars and Marshall amps. Our drummer Steve Smak uses Rogers drums and Gretch drums. Dave our bassist uses a Fender P bass and a Carvin amp with 4 tens.
Anything else...?
We just want to reach out a lot of different groups that have a lot in common but don't know it or that nobody else has tried to bring together. We write songs for bikers, hotrodders, outsiders, soldiers, progressives, people who are sick of the loss of privacy that the internet and government spying and intrusion into our private lives has brought. We care deeply about the environment and the loss our beaches and lakes and rivers and about global warming. We are also leary of secret cabals and very small numbers of corporate power types running the country. I'm also very interested in the old west and horses and am writing screenplays that I hope to sell sometime soon.
