Zappa-esque, psychedelic, rock pranksters. Gibbering mad professor frontman with 1001 surreal costume changes. Abstract fish-obsessed lyrics and systematic tremelo-arm abuse....
Why this name?
Oxford busker and part-time rat-catcher Archie 'Chocoboy' Ayres changed his name by deedpoll to 'Frank Fish' and insisted that his ugly, overworked, underpaid backing band 'The Cutteslowe Grunties' immediately reinvent themselves as either
'The Small Penises' or 'The Fins'. After much careful thought they chose the latter.

Do you play live?
Lots of chaotic gigs in Oxford/London/Holland during the 80s and early 90s. Plans afoot to re-form the band at this very moment in time!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
We're too busy practising our scales to open fetes and supermarkets...er....about half past eight Jimmy!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeahhhhh!!! Our dream of a marzipan covered 947 roomed mansion in the countryside, a hedgehog shaped swimming pool and a 5-dimensional Rolls Royce on stilts is still very much alive.
Band History:
Notorious in the 1980s for their high energy, over the top live performances combining bizarre theatrical costumes with a mental fusion of bluesy funk-rock, fish obsessed psychedelia. Rumoured to be reforming to promote their surreal CD album 'FRANK FISH and the FINS - live Volume 1'.
