Why this name?
Deeper Than Poetry Ent. came from my music partner M.R.S; that also gave me my performance name as well, lol!!! We was talking about getting a record label name for a while and finally said this name and it stuck with me. She said that every time I speak its deeper than poetry, lol!!! M.R.S inspires me with the wonderful keyboarding and lyrical RNB skills, lol!!!
Do you play live?
Yes, been on Bone Thugs Tour 2010, Lowrider Magazine Shows 2011-12, and still planning more events! We are trying to take our performance to another level with a live band because I love how live bands bring the momentary, once in a life time experience, emotion, and excitement you wont get at every show. You can book us, now!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Yeah, it changes because we can share inspiration and styles to intermingle genres you might have thought impossible to mix.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah, as long as we get to do our thing, lol!!! Entrepreneur spirit, lol!!!
Band History:
Since 2004, been working with M.D. (RNB), 2007 started with Young King Nation (Hip Hop) to present and in 2011 began participating in events with Chikano (Alternative Rock)
