As of right now I have just a few clips up and it's just the instruments no vocals yet, but that will change soon. I have a few songs that I've been recording and when I finish I'll put them up.

My "Band" I guess is called "The Minor Chord" but really it's just me playing all parts of the music. Where I live it's kind of hard to find people to be in a band with.

Anyways the majority of the stuff I write is light rock or acoustic rock, but I have a few songs that are hardcore metal and hard rock. It's basically whatever mood I'm in thats what kind of song comes out. When I finish recoring the songs you'll see what I mean.
Why this name?
Well It was really a misunderstanding. I was singing a song and I thought the lyrics were "Feelings through a minor chord" or something and it stuck.
Do you play live?
I used to play live before my friends left. In the encompasing cities. I love it. A special moment would be later on being approached by people I dont know telling me what a good job we did :) it felt nice.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It definitly does change the music industry for better AND for worse. 2 Immediate and easy examples would be
1.) Music is now not about record labels or paying big bucks to get a decent demo recorded for people to hear your stuff. News about bands spread faster and chances of going places are enhanced.
2.) While people may become popular faster and go places, the money isnt there anymore people arent willing to pay for cds and gettin gold and platinum records are harderto come by. The only still true way for a band to make coin now is through touring.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would because, even though theres no money to be made with a label (contracts are crazy) they are the ones promoting your music for you. Making touring and landing gigs that much easier when the time comes.

These are people who have influenced me but may or may not be heard through my music considering I've only recorded one style of music so far.

Joe Satriani, Dream Theater, Sikth, The Fall of Troy, The Mars Volta, Thrice, City and Colour, Blue Rodeo, Dustin Kensrue, Coheed and Cambria, As Cities Burn, Alexisonfire, Circa Survive, Muse, The Mad Caddies, Killswitch Engage, Jeff Buckley, In Flames, Guthrie Govan, Gob, Finch and Brand New. lol

These are more people who I find influence my guitar playing abilities and/or my song construction and understanding... not so much song genres...
