hey I'm soulofbass, i've made music for a long time and i would like to share it with you. hope you like it
Why this name?
well, it was a long time ago, at the time i thought it was cool cuz i played bass and it kinda sounded like solo bass, which i pretty much was, but i also wanted it to sound like i had soul, i dunno it kinda stayed with me through the years.
i dont change it even though today because well it means what little name recognition ive built up will have gone to waste and also because it just wont feel right, i will always be soulofbass period, as dumb as it sounds to me now.

Do you play live?
sometimes, i have a sometimes band called telephintreze, we played a few gigs here in bangkok, i also play solo acoustic sometimes.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
well i think the change hasn't been fully realized. thing is the music industry gives tools to artists that your average person does not have. the music industry being the labels give added value to the brand the artists create through advertising and promoting. i'd love to see more parity, but until technology also gives the artists the ability to have access to quality control and promotion the internet does little to change other than making music free and more accessible.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
everyone has a price, so do i. but i wouldn't take it lightly.
