Atom Orr is a music project created by Christopher Hoffee. All songs are written, performed, engineered, mixed, and produced by him. He has guests appear from his former band "Fivecrown" and other artist friends. Christopher has been in bands since 1990 and has opened for acts such as Radiohead, Oasis, Blur, Cracker, Cake, blah, blah, blah.
Atom Orr has released two albums, "Wake" and "Noir", and has finished a third, "Asterisk" which will be released the winter.

Why this name?
It sounds like a person and it sounds like a band.
Do you play live?
I perform on the West and East coasts mostly. I love performing. I've probably done around 1500 shows so I have had lots of great moments...blury...but great.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Distribution... HUGE. You don't need physical CD's in a physical store to get the music to people. It's as big as when radio came out.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
That depends. Some bands signed to a Major Record Label would earn more money working full time at a 7-Eleven. 95% of musicians can't afford health care, while the cleaning guy at the label has full benefits. Not to just put down labels, but there needs to be some kind of support for the artists.

Amsterdam... oh yea...
Equipment used:
I sample real drums, chop them up, spew them out, then add "real" guitars, keyboards, bass, percussion, and vocals.
