Tamir Peleg - solo producer (33 years old)

I've been producing music for quite a while. Since I work on muse only, there were break periods between the written/recorded compositions, some of them were long. However, I'm trying to stay up to date nonetheless and getting influenced from various producers in the electronic scene.

My starting point was Trance music but with frequent excursions to other genres, mainly Techno, which is related in some areas.

Today I can say that there is no specific genre I want to be limited to. When I hear something that inspires me, I'll try to produce my own version and add a different touch. It's quite refreshing at times to crossover between genres and maybe mold a new meaning to the track. This is not easy for me since I don't have a solid musical background, It's a never ending process of learning and experimentation. Relying on my hearing ability was the first thing that helped me to write down melodies and rhythms actually. It's also good having an active imagination when composing music.
Why this name?
It is the best way to introduce myself.
Do you play live?
I haven't played live ever...I'm not a DJ or a live/organic musician act.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think mp3 & other digital media formats that are being transfered by the inter-net are already having a great impact on the music scene/industry.

It's the voice of the future. It opens a lot of doors to unknown music artists like me, who are trying to get public recognition for their work.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It depends on the terms that will be offered.
Your influences?
Synthesizer Pop/Dark wave/Electronic Body Movement (to some extent), New Age, Trance, Techno, House, Hard Rock/Metal (Classical) - I listen to a lot of things.
Equipment used:
Synthesizers, effect units, drum machine, samplers and an editing/sequencing software.
Anything else...?
Enjoy my music, it won't bite...lol
