Why this name?
I have a friend who directs plays for childern, her name is Ariane. One day she was telling me about how she was directing a children's play called, The Calico Tiger. which is about how a bunch of jungle animals scared of a tiger so they pant it colors. Well that inspired me. I sing and write alot about how people put up masks, or paint things a certain way mentally in hopes to cope with it easier. We are all guilty of it, I am expecially. I love living in a world that I think I have control over. So if something is new or scary I can paint it with a false sense of security or manipulating the situation in my head to the point where it is not new or frightening anymore.
Do you play live?
I usually play basments, butI play anywhere. I am organizing a tour this summer on the East Coast with the Wassung-Dave Connection.
Band History:

Your influences?
My musical influences are really just anything, it could be one I hold close to my heart. Or an article I read in the paper.
Favorite spot?
I really fell in love with DC / Baltimore when I It was really a big change from the slow life up in New Hampshire. I see myself there in the near future. Here it is so barren and I go crazy I need a place that can always keep my mind occupied. So in actuality the hustle bustle of city life really works out for me
Equipment used:
I play guitar and keyboard and whatever instrument I can get my hands on.
