Grünhexe began in 2004 with electro D.J. William Parlier and has produced large varieties of electronic music from trance to industrial. William Parlier, also known as D.J. Grünhexe has produced music with multiple electronica and experimental groups like Idiot-Gene, Nekoy, The Disturbia Project, and is also the founder of Feuer-Haus Rekords. Grünhexe’s debut single "Eins für Musik" was released in March of 2004 featuring an hour long production with guest producer Dein Strauß and became a hit in the local electro seen. From there Grünhexe has slowly been branching out into various club scenes around the world until the group brought in two new members Rod Sterawitz and former guest producer Dein Strauß. The trio released their single "Planet Earth," then went their separate ways.

In May of 2006, D.J. Grünhexe was invited into Idiot-Gene by U.K. Producer Greg Hartley to produce their single album "Music for the Revolution." The album was a joint production from two parts of the world, and produced an over all successful sound. The group later disbanded the following year with dead time between both members with only small contemplation to rename the group and continue once again. In 2007, both members split up to begin their two separate productions "Nekoy" and "The Disorder Project."

After Nekoy’s release of "Electronic Industrialization" in 2008, Parlier decided to bring back music under the name Grünhexe once again, releasing his premier song "Himmel und Hölle" the first addition to the future album "Astral-Projecktion," expected to be released by Feuer-Haus Rekords towards the end of 2008, featuring many artists and producers from around the world.
