Why this name?
the significance of our name is due to the fact that we been on the grind for a long time and gone through the struggle growing up in daygos projects...
Do you play live?
not at the moment but got a list of gigs that we have lined up...
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
i think it will help us get our name out into the public and gain major exposure...also, it will boost up the names rep and give us alot of buzz in the streets...
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yea most definitely...we are currently looking at a few deals right now...
Band History:
GET IT GANG is a group that was recently formed by the existing two members: J KNOCKS & YUNG ACE on the date of july 25th, 2005...the meaning behind its name has to do with the hunger for exposure and money...these young and talented dudes were brought together not only by fate but by choice, being that one member originated from the eastcoast in Brooklyn, NY where as the remaining two resided in the westcoast area of San Diego, CA...this is whats unique about the up and coming artists...both styles of music become one overall style that gives listeners a fun but deep experience...J KNOCKS & YUNG ACE were born and raised in southeast san diego and BIG SERG grew up in the projects of philly who was indirectly taken out of the group which is another story...all of them had one thing in common, which was growing up in the struggle being involved with gang violence and drug deals...time after time it finally came to mind that its time to make money...pigeons in the street is what they would call themselves due to the fact that fightin for bread wuz the only way to survive...they were trying to make it through the rough part of life and find a way to make legit money...the three plan to stay consistent and never give up in the future ahead...they've been on the grind for so long that its too late to turn back...now that they have multiplied their group, the members plan to expand nationwide and put in work to gain exposure in the streets...they also plan to undergo major promotion in hopes of personal/financial success...
