MC Eksale is a young rapper out of the Gold Coast. At sixteen, he is still learning the tricks of the trade, and developing his lyrical style 24-7. In the two short years that he has been rapping, he's received alot of positive comments and criticism regarding his music from not only the general public, but local artists and hip-hop heads aswell.
Eksale has been a part of hip-hop since he was old enough to listen to music, having bought his first tupac cd when he was nine years old. Ever since, he has been in love with not only the music, but the entire culture of hip-hop.
At eleven, eksale first discovered Rahzel and beatboxing, and after five years still beatboxes daily (Bonus track on the mixtape is a beatbox track). Since then, a bunch of beatboxers have emerged in the scene which is why Eksale refers to the five elements of hip-hop, rather than four.
At fourteen Eksale first picked up a microphone to rap, with a raw style and stumbling flow. It was at this time that he first discovered Australian hip hop, and first took a can of exports to a wall.
Now at sixteen, with a steady two years of experience writing raps, Eksale is bringing out a free mixtape that is available to download now (If you direct your eyes a few inches down the page). He'll also be able to post copies to anyone interested aswell.
