NEWS   Final song is out! 'Overdrive 15 out of 16' is the final addition to the Digital Backdrops album. We'll be working on coming up with new ways to grow as a musical project, including the creation of unique loops, higher quality MP3's and possibly the addition of other band members. Stay tuned!

I'm just one guy, using Magix Music Maker 12 Deluxe. I've done a few songs with it, and hope to get some feedback - I need to buy more loop sets before I do anything major with this, so let me know if I'm heading in the right direction. Eventually, if I really decide to go headlong into this, I'll pick up a synthesizer and start making loops of my own. On the non-musical side of things, I'm happy to have the talents of a couple of good friends helping me out with art and marketing - check out their profiles in the Member's section of the band page.
Why this name?
It's my First and Middle initials (Daniel and John) and my last name (Suptic)
DJ Suptic
Maybe one day, I'll be an actual DJ, but for now it's just a clever little name.
Do you play live?
I do not play live yet.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet and digital music has been one of the best ways that new bands can reach out and share their music with a lot of people all at once. I'm all for it!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If a record label thinks I'm good enough, then sure!
Band History:
No big history as of yet. Picked up the Magix Music maker software a couple years ago, really liked it's simplicity and utility. Recently added Nicholas Suddarth to our crew, who's done a great job with both promotions and marketing.
Your influences?
Video games in general, assorted electronica, ambient and techno artists.
Favorite spot?
Olathe, Kansas - always be home to me.
Equipment used:
Right now I'm simply working on a PC, but if I get good enough, I intend to buy a really nice synth keyboard to start making my own loops.
