Evan Gamble Lewis grew up from a middle class family in New England. His mother is an an accomplished Georgia blues singer and guitarist. His Father is a CT corporate man. Together, they surrounded him with music and spirituality; Always believing he would succeed with his gifted talents.
Lewis effortlessly picks up any instrument and teaches himself to play, learning song and structure in the process. Playing one instrument has never satisfied his creative cravings. He has been influenced by Prodigy, Rob Zombie, Crystal Method, Rabbit in the Moon, Die Warzaw, Gravity Kills, Fluke, and more.
Once Lewis met Arun Ranganathan and introduced him to the world of electronic music, countless hours hanging out at Arun's record shop, honed Lewis' skills enough to join Arun's production crew, Connectbeats. The company broadened his mind through experimental collaborations, and allowed him to take on projects with companies such as Four4 Productions, Visionquest Productions, Stormshow Studios, DNE, and Frontstreet Productions, which laid a strong yet humble foundation for him to launch his creativity.
Lewis' accomplishments with Connectbeats landed him MTV interviews, movie scores, and a nine-month European tour spinning techno, trance, and break-beats, all stemming from hundreds of underground basement and house parties. He has worked with many American and European producers while learning to improve his production skills.
Since Evan's last tour, he has partnered up with new management from A & R Enterprises (Renee Castee) and laid the turntables, as well as tour dates to rest, swapping them for the countless studio hours needed to create his arsenal of new songs to be released in his forthcoming album.

Why this name?
I used to go by "Gamble" when I DJ'd. It's my middle name, works out great in casinos. Then I started producing as Evan Lewis, and dropped the whole gamble thing all together. Now I am Evan Gamble Lewis. It's my full name and I guess I can't really mess that up.
Do you play live?
I've played a few live shows with some drum machines, turntables, microphones, guitar pedals, didgeridoos, congas, and a few of my freak job friends. They were tribal breaks into drum n bass sets. Probably my favorite shows to date.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes it so much easier to access music. I'm all about it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the deal was reasonable.
Your influences?
Prodigy, Crystal Method, Fluke, Keoki, Chemical Brothers, DJ Icey, Rabbit in the Moon, Gravity Kills, Dieselboy, Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, anyone who really rattled my bones.
