Hey, I'm Rocky a.k.a. Rockstaa. I have just started writing and producing my own songs. Music has always been a huge part of my life, but I haven't been able to record at all until now. I have written, recorded and produced 6 of my own songs and have 11 in total!!! I do write all of my own material, record all my own vocals (main and background) and do all of my own mixing!! Why this name?
Well since my name is Rocky and I was always involved in singing and performing, I was always called Rockstaa, it even says so on my license plate hhaha.
Do you play live?
I have sung live all through school in front of crowds 2000+ and I also competed in NH idol. I love performing live, especially the rush you get after you've finished.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is awesome because it allows artists like myself, to get their music out there, even if you don't have a lot of money. (Which is great).
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Absolutely, as long as the label fit my style.
Your influences?
I love dancing and clubs. I find inspiration from my life, women, and all sorts of things. I really do want most of my songs to be club anthems, songs that can be remixed, very pop-meets-hip-hop. I will however produce some slow jamz.
Favorite spot?
Boston and New York. I want to live in one of those locations after I'm out of school.

I use my laptop and various programs.
