Why this name?
We where looking at some leafs on the ground ;)
Do you play live?
Yea, we play live and we are a live band. The feeling you get when playing in front of people is unbelievable.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Internet has made the music industry into some sort of panic state! The big labels didnt see it coming and now they have trouble adapting.

We are (as the big labels) against illegal downloading all the way but internet is the bomb for independent unsigned band like us if you know how to make the most of it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Aye!
Band History:
The story started way back in the early 90's in a beautiful town called Nyköping where a young Andreas Lindgren met a guy called Tommie Enbom at a local hangaround. At first, Tommie thought Andreas was a little bit weird but as they continued to meet each other at party’s they started talking a little and they got directly in to talking about music. After some time they decided that they should start playing together to see what happened. After a month or two they started the band “Nothing Left” with some mutual friends and their music making journey was started.

Sadly all good things have an end and at late -95 “Nothing Left” was no more and the guys went separate ways. Tommie moved to Södertälje just outside of Stockholm and Andreas stayed behind. Exactly 10 years later they met coincidently at a bar in Södertälje since Andreas had to moved there because of his job. They got to talking again about old times and decided to start playing for fun.

What was later to be Fallen Leafs was created sometime in the early autumn of 2005 by Andreas Lindgren, Tommie Enbom and Henrik Nilsson (Tommie's training partner at the local gym Gröndal). They started to jam together and played mostly covers and enjoyed each others company. After 3 live sets with only 2 acoustic guitars and vocals they wanted to do something bigger and started looking for a bass player and a drummer.

Andreas had heard that his and Tommie's mutual friend Jimmy Oscarsson had also moved to Södertälje because of his job. Andreas contacted him as soon as he heard the news and asked him if he wanted to join them in their pursuit of stardom and music making. He accepted their invitation and all that was left now was the drummer.

Tommie and Henrik was working out in the gym one day when they saw a red headed young stranger (Martin) working his muscles over at the bench pressing machine. They started to do some small talk and as all of them was into music, Henrik told Martin that they played in a band without a name and that they where searching for a drummer. Martin told them that he currently played the guitar in a band called Washout and that he was quite good on the drums as well. The next time the guys met they invited Martin to try out for the band, he really enjoyed it and he decided to join. Fallen Leafs was finally a full band and the journey had begun.
