Da history of dis is complicated. It all started wit N.I.T. when me and Leprakon decided to form a CD wit our fellow artist Skip. But wit da downfall of N.I.T., Lep met Pocohontas and DrewHa supplyin us wit da extra ounce we need to make a real group. So wit dat, I met up wit Phontas and Drew and we took it for real. Wit dat, we formed D-City

Aah u kno when it comes to da rap game, there are many influences. As for myself (D.T.L.) Eminem has been my biggest inspiration. The flow of his rhymes and ability to technalize his lyrics so fluently is amazing and so since then I've based all my music on lyrics and flow. I kno Leprakon has got influences from Eminem and Fabolous while DrewHa is solely a Tupac fan. Pocohontas just takes her music from the heart tho. No real influences. Jus straight up natural love and talent for da game.

We aint hightech or nothin wit studios or all that. We use a simple program called COOL EDIT PRO 2.0 which is a Multitrack Recording Studio for your computer. The beats that we use are from all over. We got to give major props to Rockit Productions and D.O.E. tho for supplyin us wit such hot music. With that and our own lyrics, we use CP 2.0 to mix it all up and present

So on da real, we do dis music cuz iz pure hip-hop. Even for those people who dont understand da game, we do dis for you too becuz even if you dont like rap in general, u can still relate to some of da stuff we talkin about.
