Music of James Lambert, folk, blues and pop. One man band on a mission for toe tapping tunes.
Why this name?
Lying as in "Let sleeping dogs lie" or lying as to not be truthful. I would be lying if I said I have a band, I play all the instruments myself.
Do you play live?
Play solo at local community events.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I personally have discovered some artists through mp3 sites that I like a lot. It gives them a venue.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah, however I believe major labels are manufacturing pop artists rather than discovering them.
Your influences?
I love the Meat Puppets, Randy Newman, Paul McCartney, Lou Reed and G Love.
