Summer
Young band from Seattle making emotionally driven alternative/emo-core styled music. Started as a concept in Junior High and turned into reality not too long after. The group has been together since 1996-ish and has been through many incarnations, including four drummers two bass players, the staple singer-songwriter Jef and three guitarists.
Why this name?
We ran across it while playing a video game and it sounds reallly unique so we kept it.
Do you play live?
For me, every show has it's own special memories. My favorites are definately of crowd participation, that's definately the best part of being a musician.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think that it makes the industry more dynamic. I think it's a good thing. It makes the industry seem less monolithic.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah.
