Why this name?

I was given the nickname Homeslice by my partna Britten. We grew up together on Twelfth Street & had such a large group round we made up Twelfth Street Mob.

The Mob Consists of the following peeps:
Big Steve (RIP), Airwolf, Britten, TaybyaT, Homeslice, Mac MaaL, Shatrice, Agent G, Ian, KBeezy, Indo, The Grigga, Dianna, Tiffany, Mimi, Decarlo Bridges, Javid, Young Jordan, Canden, Christina D and Alot of other affiliates too, too many to name!!

Do you play live?

Yeah I've played live in Germany Clubs such as the M.A.D (Music Action Dance) located in Schweinfurt, Germany, and the Megadrome also in Schweinfurt, 2 small clubs but I'm in the Army so I aint had much of a choice, I also rapped in some karaoke bars back home in Maryland, I look forward to some big performances hopefully in the future!!

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

The internet only helps people exchange ideas & promote but you gotta do that in person too and grind til you die, otherwise you ain gone be shit. But I do admit alot of nice lyricists and such be on the net doing some creative things..

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I would like to have my own label made off of a major joint like Def Jam or some shit, than have my own sh*** like TSM Records, I know I got potential to get signed everyone who hears me flow knows that.. Producers Listen to my flow, I ain faking, Im doing this sh*** cuz I know I got skills and its in my heart

Your influences?

My influences are people who battle rap and one in particular is Epimetheus AKA Crystal Meth, who some claim got killed but no one is quite sure, his vocabulary, flow, and multi-rhyming is great, another influence is Chopped & Screwed Music, and getting drunk, it helps me relax and the skipping and slow voices makes me concentrate on what im doing..

Favorite spot?

My favorite spot would have to be in the studio, I been to one in DC and recorded most of my tracks, dude name Eric at my job set me up with Free Time... its tight as shit, also my fav spot is in the bed with the wifey, LOL
