My name is Ross Priluker, I am a singer, been singing since I was 2 years old. I love musicals, pop, rock, country, basically anything and everything. If I hear it, I can play it. I also enjoy composing music for film. I want to learn to compose music with real instruments, not there yet, but I have a good ear for music and it has always been my dream to compose something for film and conduct my works in front of a live audience, with a real live orchestra.
Why this name?
Because it's my name!
Do you play live?
I have played live 4 times. The first real time I played live in front of a big audience was at my sister's wedding which housed 300 something people, and at Rider University in NJ, which housed 900 people. So yeah, I love to play live, when I get up on that stage I become an entirely different person, this whole other side takes over, I get lost in the moment, but it feels great and I plan on continuing to perform live in front of people. Playing live with all those pairs of eyes watching you, is the greatest "high" anyone can ever hope for!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the internet has given many wannabe's a starting chance to get out there and to express themselves in ways that we couldn't in the past, before internet.... does anyone remember when there wasn't internet.... I sure don't.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course. First chance I get.
