Apeth are a three piece rock band from nottingham. we are all 22 and we have played together for about 6 years in a few different line ups. Apeth are Steve McCabe (guitar and vocs) Steve Grainger (bass and backing vocs) and Billy Fisher (drummer boy)
Why this name?
randomly chosen but we found out that it translates as 'virtue' in geek. 'daft' usually preceeds it up north.
Do you play live?
we play in pubs around notts that like bands with original material
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it allows you to hear music you would not normally buy which is the plus side but i can see how it may negatively affect the royalties collected by up and coming artists
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yes

between us we have a very varied influence but our music is just original. we wanna be different. but we aint much yet.
