The valley based group consist of two young emcee's who go by the names of 100percent(Jon Love) and E.A(Victor Hines) the two are not only a group but good friends as well outside of the music life,which is why the name ''2-minutes'' was the perfect title for them.The ''2'' in their name is self explanitory and the ''minutes'' means..(M)en (I)gnoring (N)egativity (U)nity (T)rust (E)quals (S)uccess.

While representing cities like Van Nuys,Pacoima,North Hills/Panorama City and other valley spots 2-minutes has to over come adversity and show the rest of the world thats theres more to Los Angeles then white-T's,chucks and blooding & cripping.They both said in a recent interview ''its time to shed a new light on the westcoast,a brighter one''.

From 2005 to 2007 2-minutes gained a big buzz by performing in several clubs and events throughout the Los Angeles such as ''The garden of Eden'' and doing a show with Power 106's DJ Felli Fel.The group has worked and been noticed by several established artist like the Legendary Ike Turner & Chino XL just to name a few.

2-minutes is currently working on releasing their first 19 track mixtape together entitled ''Money,Sex & drugs VOL.1'' which will be followed by a VOL.2 sometime early 2009.Suprisingly this group is still unsigned and willing to negotiate with anyone interested in them.With all their talent and drive to make a diffrence in hip hop its only a matter of time until 2-minutes becomes the topic of every house hold in the world.
