Why this name?
It's from an old movie that came up in conversation when we were slaving away building our old rehearsal space
Do you play live?
Yes, usually as an acoustic duo, though the record was recorded "full band." We've had several great live experiences lately, including opening for Crash Test Dummies here in Seattle and getting flown to Las Vegas for a weekend showcase
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
We worry that the record as an art form may be on its way out, and that means that any song that isn't "single" material will have a tough time getting heard. On the bright side, it means that the quality of songs you do hear should be pretty high
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It would depend on the label's ideas about our music, about how to promote us, and about the connections they might make for other artists

Indigo Girls, Grateful Dead, Bodeans, James Taylor
Favorite spot?
Seattle is pretty hard to beat, except for the traffic...then again, Kauai isn't bad, either!
