Thanks For taking a few minutes to listen to Three Minutes Out. My name is Brandon and T.M.O. is my brainchild. I have a very dangerous occupation (Soldier, U.S. Army) and this is my way of leaving an artistic mark. I joined the military after 12 years of gigging in bars and recording in basements and closets, fueding with band members and coming perilously close to the edge of life and sanity. Everything contained in these tracks was recorded, programmed, mixed and mastered by myself with certian contributions (Winters Edge, Defiant) from Ty Denhartog, my best friend and brother-in-law, in a home recording studio that cost me not only many thousand's of dollars but 15 months of my life left in a desert seven thousand miles away from my country and family. Time I will never get back, friends I will never get back. My music is far from patriotic, and truth be told, so am I. The only reason I mention any of this is for the sacrifice ive made for my art, my dream and my vision. Im not trying to make a million dollars (though it would be nice) but even if only one person listens to any of these songs and is moved... then its all worth it to me.
Again thanks for taking the time to review and listen to Three Minutes Out
-Brandon

Why this name?
It just stood apart among a list of names
Do you play live?
Not currently, I am more focused on production and engineering at the moment
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet, mp3 and digital recording technology has really allowed artists to affordably get thier ideas out to anyone who will listen easier than handing out CD's and fliers at shows and on street corners.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Who wouldnt?!
Band History:
Long and complicated.
Your influences?
Heavily influenced by, but not limited to, West Coast/Seattle rock bands of the late 90's. Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Tool, Pantera, Type O Negative, Faith No More and more contemperary bands like Nickelback, Chevelle, Crossfade, Shinedown, Fair to Midland, Ill Nino and Lost Prophets.
Favorite spot?
Seattle is my favorite place on Earth.
Equipment used:
I use Ibanez guitars and basses, Roland and Behringer amplifiers, Audio-Technica Mic's, Toshiba and Dell computers with Intel Duo Core 1.83GHz processors running Pro Tools 7.4 LE, Propellerhead's Reason, Izotope's Ozone, Celemony's Melodyne, Anteres Auto-Tune Evo and IK Multimedia's Amplitide Software on Windows Vista, Digidesign's Digi003 interfaces, Mackie CFX16 MkII Mixer, Mackie MR5/Fostex PM0.4 Studio Monitors, Monster Cables, DR "Black Beauty" strings, Redbull liquid motivator and Jagermiester vocal lubrication.
Anything else...?
Despite bieng influenced by a certian style of music, I am striving for, and in my opinion achieved, a signature sound and style. Though immitation is the highest form of flattery I do not want to be typecast or foreshadowed by other headline acts. This collective effort may not be the best sonic chemistry out there, and may not be commercially viable, but at least its honest. Music from the soul... for the soul. You be the judge.
