What's up this is Blue Ice hailin' from Pittsburgh, PA. I'm 15, and one of my favorite hobbies is music. Music has been my thing ever since I was a lil' dude. Listening to many types of music, from Jazz to Rap, I always had a never ending list of different genres to listen to. I do rap, but I'm more into Music Production. I've been rapping since I was around 8-9 years of age, but I started producing only a couple of years ago. I've learned a lot about music production, and I'm impressed of what progress I'm making with it. Also, if you want beats and you don't want to pay a cost, hit me up at : horacemah0ney@yahoo.com or hit AIM on: blueicegunna and I'll throw you some.. When I say free, I mean 100 % ABSOLUTELY FREE beats for your demo, mixtape, whatever the case may be.
Do you play live?
No, but it would be a nice rush to perform in front of people. I really look forward to doing so very soon.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well nowadays, yes. More and more young people rely on music they listen to on the Internet, it's not the radio anymore. If they seen or heard it on youtube, chances are that it'll blow up the charts. So yes, the Internet did change the music industry.
Band History:
GBS {Discontinued}
S.T.P {Producer}
Your influences?
Scott Storch is one of my biggest musical influences. Everything from the Euro-Techno that he does to the Indian club hits, his instrumentals alone are one of my favorites. MDL, a young producer that many Youtubers are familiar with, has truly influenced me. I don't care what anyone says, watching his videos old or new, he motivates me to create more, add more, etc.
Favorite spot?
If you're in the burgh you can find me at any of the clubs there.... I'm more frequently active in Carnegie, though.
Equipment used:
Plugin wise, whatever I can get my hands on. Software, I have used, Fl Studio, Reaper, Cubase, and Reason. I just developed a feeling for Fl Studio, though. I'll grow into different kinds of software. As for Keyboards, I use a PSR-175 Yamaha (for different sounds), and a M-Audio M5.
Anything else...?
Yeah go hard or go home... If you aint here to create then wtf are you doing here??? lol j/k "You can do anything you set your mind to"
