Although I make my living playing music, this page has the stuff that nobody else hears. Except you and me, of course.
Why this name?
I was going to be "Roomful of Dave," but it was too much of an inside joke.
Do you play live?
I play for seniors and families for a living. I haven't taken the ambient music out for performance yet.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has made it almost impossible to get non-compressed audio. It has provided a way for millions of people to publish really bad music that nobody else listens to. This is my hope for this page. I want to become one of those millions.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yah, sure. I'm sitting by the phone right now.
Band History:
Nothing outstanding. I was in a five-piece band, but they fired me. Now I carry much less equipment, show up on time, get all the money, and don't have to worry about anybody but myself, my client, and my audience. Oh, and maybe you.
Your influences?
Everything I've ever heard since I was born. Except Barry Manilow.
