Garritt has been involved in the music industry for over a decade, and has toured and recorded as a bass player and guitar player, and worked as an engineer, producer, and mastering engineer. He also co-owned Sibling Records, which put out albums by Dizmas and Custom Deluxe, and the compilation "Variety Show" featuring Slick Shoes, Starfish 5, Ken Lawrence, Custom Deluxe, and Dizmas.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has leveled the playing field. Ten years ago, the biggest challenge for Sibling Records was getting good distribution. Now, every artist has access to the worlds largest music retailer (iTunes), and a myriad of other great outlets. It is truly possible to reach everyone now.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Not going to happen
Your influences?
My influences are widely varied. I love all kinds of music, and have been influenced by just about everything I listen to.
Favorite spot?
The Pacific Northwest. God's creative handiwork on display.
Equipment used:
New and Vintage, Digital and Analog, Clean and Dirty. I use ProTools for recording, mixing and mastering, Garage Band for quick creation. Mac computers, Hampton mics, Fender, Alvarez, Takamine guitars and bases, Line 6 Pod, a great Crate 15 watt amp that I got in a little shop in Whichita Falls, Texas, and tons of other cool toys.
