God‘s Image is a seven member group; Allan Waswa, Bruce Kato, both presently wrapping up thier High School, Derrick Mubiru and Waswa Ken. Daniel Mugabi, a graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Tourism of Makerere University, William Luyima a graduate in Environmental Management at Makerere University.

Why this name?
Genesis 1:26 says God chose to create us in His Image oh how wonderful is it to look like Him. Though after words a lot happened and man who was created in Gods image fell/sinned in the Garden of Eden but thank God that he provided a way out through His only begotten son Jesus Christ who restored the relationship between man and God which had been broken.
Ephesians 4:22-24 is the foundation scripture of this Ministry; putting off the old way of life corrupted by its deceitful desires and putting on the new-self which is after God’s likeness in true righteousness and holiness.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The Internet through its Mp3 has introduced all categories of artistes even the upcoming young talents to the whole wide world exposing them to potential record companies, friends, and a vast range of resourceful personalities.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes we would if we meet the right record company with Good business Terms.
Band History:
GOD’S IMAGE a Contemporary R&B Vocal communications team of seven young men whose Saviour is Jesus Christ, started as a reunion of young friends early March, 2000. This was a step to unite the members six of us that were originally Choral singers from an Anglican Church near our home in Kazo-kawempe Kampala where they had been singing since Sunday school.
Frankly we have come a long way. William and Ronnie left the group DOORS OF REVIVAL D.O.R. whereas the other five guys pulled out one by one from the group SOUL BROTHERS that seemed not to see the light at the end of the tunnel. From D.O.R. and SOUL BROTHERS we merged and came up with God’s Image, its now 3 ½ years that we’ve been amicably working together.

Your influences?
We like and enjoy the flavour in Motown R&B productions. Our message is easily communicated this way. In a few months to come we shall introduce the crashing Guitar for it creates a Flavor of its own that is internationally appreciated.
Favorite spot?
When we are Praisng n worshiping in one accord and everyone can sing our songs word after word
