WELCOME METAL WARRIORS!!
Autaric was recently formed from the evolution of other numerous bands in which members Franko Hopkins [Lead Vocals, Rhythm & Lead Guitar], Brent Ziola [Bass], and Adam Wilgosh [Drums & Percussion] had previously been involved with. Acts such as Truth Decay & Revoltus became Autaric during the fall of '07. Owen Larwood [Vocals, Lead & Rhythm Guitar] joined the band shortly after the Annual Rockfest of '07
Since the band has come together combining their musicianship and likeness for metal they have gotten the opportunities to play a few gigs and are steadfast in the process preceding to progress and steadily write new material and focus on working hard to accomplish their goals
Autaric members come from local small small town Saskatchewan, Kelvington, Wadena, Porcupine Plain, and Hazel Dell, although are currently based out of Regina, SK

Why this name?
The band name originated from a specified list of names we had on a list to use. We eventually came to the decision to use this name because it suited the means of what we were about. The name Autaric is based solely on a few words somewhat combined into a general idea in which we gathered our name from. These words were "autarchic" and "autarkic", together "combined" to form Autaric.
Do you play live?
We've done many shows and are steady looking for more!
We've played the most shows in Regina, Saskatchewan at the venue, "The Exchange" and we love playing there. Our last show we played was at that venue and we shared the stage with Finntroll and Warbringer.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depending on the conditions of the contract I wouldn't see why not. We are not making music for the sake of financial reasons. We are simply very interested and devout to music and love to make our own.
