My name came from my real name. B. S are my intials. so i took those and my style of poetry and just my character and came up with BSMOOVE. The "lady" part got added later. Went to a local bazaar here. A guy saw me looking at music and asked what was my name. Told him and he added Lady. so there you have it. Lady BSmoove

Of Course i play live. Have to get the music and the word to the people. Anywhere in Dallas that has an open mic or when they need Lady B. I love the stage. I have withdrawls when i am not on it for a while. Most special moment right now is being the Opening Poet for the last show of the infamous Gypsy Tea Room in Dallas, TX. it was Original Soul's album release for The Glass Album

Internet is changing music greatly. Its becoming the best way to be in touch with your fans and get them the lastest stuff out that others haven't heard.

Yes I would and I am waiting for them to find out that Lady BSmoove is what the music game has been missing!

R&B, Soul, and Funk are my influences. From Aretha, Patti Labell, Maze, Isley Brothers, some Marvin Gay, Temptations. Then songwriters excite me like India Arie, Jill Scott, R. Kelly, Johnta Austin, Mariah Carey, Montell Jordan and most of all BAbyface. These people make me see everyday that real music can survive amongst all the hating and bling.

Downtown Dallas, TX so much culture and life there. Then there is Atlanta, GA the people make u want to live there.

I have been blessed wth the opportunity to write and say what others think of out loud. I thank God for what he is doing and can't wait to show the world what u can do with hardwork, a dream, and prayer.
