Aqua Vitae is a (get ready...) Socially relevant Christian progressive blues rock band with Celtic influences. Aqua Vitae was formed in November, 2007 in Vancouver, Washington USA. Our influences are Robin Trower, Rory Gallagher, Pink Floyd, Rush, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and of course Jesus Christ.
Why this name?
Aqua Vitae is Latin for "water of life." (It's also a nickname for moonshine. But, that wasn't our intended meaning.)
Do you play live?
Yes. All around Vancouver, Washington and Portland, Oregon.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gets rid of a lot of administrative overhead and wasted time.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe.
