The band is just me - Dave - I write and record music and me own vocals. Lately making 'video's' is popular, so I've done a few with some of me tunes. At another web-site people write poetry and some have let me use their words as lyrics for the music. Thanks guys and gals!
Why this name?
Condor pipe tobacco?
Do you play live?
No. I'm not a performer by any stretch of the imagination!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Vastly. Everyone and his dog is now a 'recording artist' or 'songwriter'.
Thousands of wannabe's attend national talent searches on TV. Anyone can 'sing' (to an extent) but few can write a musical score.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Nah. Too old and not really good enough!
Band History:
I've been putting music on the 'net for well over ten years. It started at the old mp3 site with iffy games music - Muzak? Then, using samples and a music editor, I wrote and recorded orchestral pieces and posted them here at Soundclick as RHS Music or, with some Country stuff, as Condor GB.

Doing this and working full-time is very busy so I've had a rest from it all for several months.
Your influences?
Johnny Cash, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins - all the old originals. Also Bob Dylan right from the word go! These of course were American artistes - I try to put a bit of 'English' orchestra into American style Country.
Favorite spot?
Home
Equipment used:
Now, old acoustic guitars - a few here, some steel, some nylon. I also use Octamed in the PC to make the orchy sounds.
Anything else...?
Another artist here used one of my songs - he had a No. 1 with it. Brill! Like to tinker with video's - pics and music. Made a few with words by other writers - I love telling them that they 'are on Youtube' (which I stream from here too)
But really all this is just for fun - as are most of the songs and vid's.
Thanks for dropping by if you do, and thanks for listening! (Which I do too - some GREAT Country music right here - just dig around, you'll find it!) Condor. :)
