Why this name?
I grew up an the city of St.Louis. My neighborhood is called the Greater Ville. rowin up people always called us " them Villeboys". I ( Derrick Adams a.k.a Neno Blakc) kept the name when i decided to create Villeboy Ent as a Entertainment label to anyone who hears the name. It was a name I thought would stick since it did with me for so many years.
Do you play live?
Yes we do live shows in various places. We happen to standout at hte shows we have done so far. ith our great energy an crowd catching hooks. Our special moment would have to be the release party that set us apart from all other in our genre at this time.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think that this is a great way for those who dont have the expensese to travel, still have the chance to get their music heard in other places by the push of a key.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes i would. Anything to help furthur my label as a great entertainment group. Investors are key to getting heard along with a lot of footwork.

Im trin to bring jazz into the hip hop era. by using horn in a way most wouldnt try. i am a big jazz an blues fan. my household held B.B King down for years on years.
Favorite spot?
My favorite city would have to be "The Lou".. St.Louis

I have protools... the beats we make are made use'n MPC an keyboard along with fruity loops an protools. Of course the swag is all St.Louis.
